People come to Horoscope Room with different kinds of relationship questions. A new connection, a recurring problem in a long-term relationship, and a recent breakup each require a different focus.
We use both birth charts together with the information you provide about the relationship. This helps us create a reading that addresses the situation you want to understand, rather than giving you a general description of compatibility.
01 / THE CHARTS
We start with both birth charts
We begin by calculating an individual birth chart for each person. These charts show the astrological patterns associated with how each of you may approach closeness, communication, emotional security, and conflict.
We then use synastry to compare the two charts and examine the connections between them. Depending on the reading, we may also use a composite chart to look at patterns that emerge within the relationship as a whole.
These methods answer different questions. Considering them together gives us a more complete view than a compatibility score or a single chart placement could provide.
02 / YOUR CONTEXT
We use the details you share
A chart pattern does not always appear in the same way in every relationship. Its relevance can change depending on whether two people have recently met, have been together for years, or are trying to understand a separation.
When you request a reading, we ask about the status and history of the relationship, as well as the question that matters most to you. Your answers help determine which parts of the charts need the most attention.
This information does not change the chart calculations. It helps us relate them to the relationship you are asking about.
03 / THE READING
We focus on the patterns that matter
Your reading does not list every placement in both charts or give you a standard definition for each one.
Instead, we look for patterns that appear across the charts and consider how they may relate to attraction, communication, emotional support, recurring conflict, separation, and change. When several parts of the charts point toward a similar theme, the reading brings those observations together and explains why they may be relevant.
The aim is to give you a connected view of the relationship, rather than a collection of unrelated astrological details.
04 / BIRTH TIME
If a birth time is unknown
An exact birth time is needed to calculate houses, the Ascendant, and other time-sensitive parts of a chart.
If either person does not know their birth time, we do not replace it with a guess. The reading focuses on factors that do not depend on an exact time. Information involving houses or specific angles is either omitted or clearly qualified.
This means that some parts of the reading may be more limited, but uncertain details will not be presented as established facts.
05 / PERSPECTIVE
What the reading can tell you
A relationship reading can offer another way to examine patterns that may be difficult to recognize while you are living through them. It can help you think about differences in communication, emotional needs, sources of attraction, recurring tension, and periods of change.
It cannot guarantee a particular outcome, determine what another person will do, or reveal their private thoughts. Astrology can provide a framework for reflection, but the direction of a relationship still depends on the people involved and the choices they make.
06 / PRIVACY
